USA in Denial about First Regime Change in History.
NEW YORK. The East-West Writer. Most Americans still refuse to accept what is happening in their country: A corrupt regime has been knocked over and is being replaced with a revolutionary administration and leadership —thanks to Donald J. Trump and his helpers.
For almost two centuries, American leaders sought “regime change” in some other 180 countries and territories (some obviously many times over), either by enemy propaganda (Cold War, say) and by direct military interventions (see timeline of US Imperialism).
Often, the USA just stood by other countries and applauded regime change —driven by the US social media corporations dressed as public services— from within (say Orange Revolution, Arab Spring, Hong Kong Umbrella Movement, and so on).
Then came Donald Trump and the US presidential election campaign 2016. One billionaire and political renegade challenged and defeated the entire US establishment: the government, the Hollywood propaganda machine, Wall Street, and the colluded media mafia. Mr. Trump called for regime change, and the American voters, praying for regime change, obliged.
It is not a transition of power. It is the democratic over-toppling of a government. There is nothing the government can do, unless it uses force. It is an extraordinary, revolutionary act of cleansing against the (crooked) government of the United States.
Regime Change, according to the Oxford Dictionary, is: “a complete change of government, especially one brought about by force.”
It doesn’t have to be done by physical force as in ‘Civil war’, goodness no: The corrupt US government, both established parties —the Democrats AND the Republicans— ganged-up to prevent “the Trump.” They were fighting for their political lives.
Even after Trump triumphed, there were mass riots in most major cities and desperate attempts —by the loser government and its media cronies— to criminalize Trump and his team and to vilify his voters.
Mr. Trump will —hopefully— exclude every single one of those cowards and crooks who betrayed him within the Republican Party, and he will strangle the legacies of the Clinton clan and the Obama clique. Already, Mr. Trump is said to move the political seat of the USA from Washington to New York, Trump Tower. Mr. Trump hates the corporate media (who wish him to the devil of course) and empowers a new media: the people and their social networking.
Mr. Trump has already changed all US foreign relations: Angela Merkel’s Europe is now “the country she ruined.” Vladimir Putin’s Russia is spared World War Three (which Hilary Clinton was so keen on starting). Trump even set a new tune with Xi Jinping’s China over Taiwan.
Most importantly, however, Donald Trump exposed the US-global media as “dishonest media,” and pledged to “drain the swamp” of corrupt Washington politicians.
The USA feels “exceptional,” so you know how it works: Shame, anger, and a false sense of exceptionalism have American elites seek to obfuscate the fact that a regime change is a regime change, even if it happens to America.
And if you still deny that regime change is happening, and if all these points still do not meet —in your mind— the dictionary definition of ‘Regime Change’, maybe Donald Trump early speeches will open your eyes.
