Blood clots cause serious illness and the veins of the lungs are one of the most dangerous places for a blockage to occur. When a pulmonary artery is blocked – a condition known as pulmonary embolism – symptoms can include shortness of breath, chest pain and fainting.     Yep I got one from a stay in hospital, and then had to stay longer 😡, lucky I’m not from the USA and live in a civilised country that actually has a half decent health care system, or it would have bankrupted me
