Trump and Scarborough have sparred publicly repeatedly since Trump captured the Republican nomination for president in May 2016.
Prior to that point, Trump had regularly appeared on “Morning Joe” by phone for what some characterized friendly interviews.

But, since then, Scarborough has frequently lashed out at the president, calling him “more of a threat to US than any foreign adversary” while both hosts have claimed multiple times that they think Trump is suffering from early on-set dementia.
Trump has often fired back at the pair, calling Scarborough “Pyscho Joe” and Brzezinski “Low I.Q. Mika” while targeting their program for what the former television star calls low ratings.
