“She’s more organized,” Retta, 49, told Page Six at the ATX TV Festival on Thursday. “I’m very organized, but I’m just too scared. I think she would be … more apt to figure out how to do it. For me, Mae [Whitman] is Annie, so she’s just like, ‘Let’s go do it!’ and I’d be like, ‘You guys, we’ve got to plan this.’”
The show’s creator Jenna Bans laughed, adding that Whitman would get “caught in like five seconds.”
“I’m just too scared, so I would f–k it up with fear,” Retta said.
Bans commented on the fact that they are somewhat like the characters they portray on the show, which follows three women in despite need of fast cash who decide to rob a grocery store.
“I think that’s why people buy it,” Retta said.
It was announced in April that NBC renewed “Good Girls” for Season 3.
