Manchester United are reportedly monitoring Matheus Pereira as he continues to impress on loan at West Brom.
The Brazilian has registered three goals and six assists since he agreed a loan deal to join the Baggies, who sit on top of the Championship table, from Sporting Lisbon in the summer.
The report adds that West Brom have the option to make the deal for Pereira – who has impressed in previous loans at Nuremburg and Chaves – permanent in the summer for £8.25million but that is unlikely to ‘put off other admirers’.
And the Daily Mirror continues by saying United are also ‘plotting a £200million double swoop for Jadon Sancho and Erling Haaland in January’.
The pair are likely to set the Red Devils back around £200million but that doesn’t seem to be putting them off as they get ‘ready to move swiftly when the window re-opens’.
Both players have been heavily linked with United in recent weeks with Haaland smashing in the goals for Red Bull Salzburg, while Sancho has been having a bit of a difficult time at Borrussia Dortmund recently.
Sancho was hauled off last weekend after 35 minutes and there are rumours of ‘discord between Sancho and Dortmund’.
