I've never used tanning or sunscreen. Do my best to tan slowly and not get a burn. I ask people who use sunscreen, with all the chemicals in those products that get absorbed into your body, do you ever wonder if you might be doing yourself more harm than good?

I would be interested what you think of the carnivore diet in terms of managing heart disease

My mother took k2 (mk-7) and magnesium citrate but her aortic heart valve calcification started to decrease only when I reduced her D3 supplementation to 400-800 IU. To my opinion, high doses of vitamin Dmade her calcification worse. Always take K2 with your D.

Wow how does fruit tie into this as sugar is mentioned is fructose ok? Or honey?

  6. pleiades   14 September، 2019 at 13:01

Which seed oils are you referring to?

  7. Nature Boy   14 September، 2019 at 13:01

Carbs do not make you fat, unless you are in a caloric surplus.
And even the, the extra fat you put on is not due to the carbs.
It is due to the extra calories!
This experts book and "scientific" ideas have been widely debunked!

Great info from dr davis, only thing id say is you don't have to ask your questions in such a round about long winded way

Please tell me why there is so much conflicting information amongst cardiologists on the same subject. Alot of top cardiologists recommend a whole plant based/ vegan diet and consider animal products to be poison.

Ivor, there is a video posted on KenDBarryMD's YouTube channel of a talk you did "Ivor Cummins Shreds the Cholesterol Hypothesis & Reveals the Root Cause of Heart Attack." It's a FABULOUS talk! Is there a better version where you can actually see your visuals?? Btw, Dr. Davis is always right on point!! Another excellent interview by you both. Many thanks!

    Thxs Ivor!
I'm a former biochemist and decided to experiment on myself.
Eliminated wheat, sugar, refined carbs, seed oils and high glycemic index foods (corn, root vegetables, most fruit) one year ago.
    Inadvertent "dirty" keto
    Inadvertent intermittent fasting
Added D3, Omega 3, K2, curcumin and magnesium supplements
    Results –
    Lost 35 pounds (stable)
    Body fat 25%->9%
Blood pressure down (prehypertension to normal)
    IBS/bloating/flatulence gone
    Constipation gone
    Acid reflux gone
    Lower back pain gone
    Erectile functioning up
    Healthier skin
    Insomnia gone
    Mentally sharp and psychologically stable

    It's simple and life changing!

Great Guest Ivor, he is the first person that got me looking into wheat and carbs. Thanks Dr Davis. It is so true what he is saying. I have what they called CAD and advanced Vascular disease. After watching a bunch of your videos I went for a CAC score and trust me in Canada they do everything they can to discourage you getting that test, but I am a pretty stubborn fella. It was 980, yes I know YIKES! But my doctors literally saw no need to act at all. I was actually told, all we can do now is treat you if you present with some sort of heart attack or bad Angina, nice. Prior to that I had a triple bypass and both Carotids cleaned out. I can't tolerate statins thank god. I have gone Keto and many other things like IV Vit C, MMS/DMSO, regular exercise, lost 45 lbs. I even did about a year of oxygen therapy. If it wasn't for the internet I would have been dead by now. I never eat more that 30 grams of carbs a day, and often closer to 20 grams. Is there anything else I can do to battle this? Thanks for all the amazing eye opening information Ivor.

I wonder if, when Dr Davis talks about the difficulty of getting studies with multiple moving parts past IRB's a change of structure might help? I assume the objection is the cause is too difficult to track with multiple changes (though people accept epidemiology…) but if you add a third test group the problem disappears. If instead of control and test you have control, test, and test-alternate (everything, including face to face time and attention etc is held the same but not the intervention, so if you give pills x,yz, in test you give placebo or even pills a,b,c in test-alternate) to explore the issue. The difference in test and test-alternate teases out the placebo/via negativa effect, and the difference between both tests and control teases out the general effect.

  21. Roberto Rossi   14 September، 2019 at 13:01

The usual propaganda…we Italian have the lowest % of Obesity(10.4%) and Sardinia is one of the "blue zone" who adopt the classic Mediterranean Diet(76% of the Diet is low GÌ carbs)…keto, paleo and low carbs is a huge business…and dishonest!!!!!!

  22. The Long Drag   14 September، 2019 at 13:01

What a terrific interviewer! The guest was excellent of course and the cooperative and non-competitive 'stream of consciousness' way the narrative flowed was a model for how to actually conduct an interview, with Ivor already knowing a substantial amount on the subject, and thus able to tease out lots of information gems from William Davis. First Class!
